Inspired by a line of fabrics
and a batik panel, my mind began to correlate ideas. Over a period of time, I
collected more fabric, beads, and in this case, a painted canvas from Kenya. I
knew the collection process had ended when I found the African painting. It
pulled the whole collection together!
I love how you brought all those different elements together to create such a cohesive piece.
